Market researchers said that the amount of TVs sold in the market in 2016, 2 percent of it was OLED TV. In 2017, such a TV market went up to 4.5 percent. In 2013, the market could stand at 6.6 percent. By 2022, the TV market will own more than 10 percent of the LED TV.

Market researchers say that 95% of the TV sets currently being sold are liquid-crystal display or LCD. Its popularity decreases by 1 or 2 percent per year. LG Electronics has occupied more than 65 percent of the TV market. Currently, 15 companies have invested in the OLED TV market.

OLED, that is, the organic light emitting diode display technology is very much known as new technology. The technology is fundamentally different from LCD TVs. The primary difference is that each pixel of its own diffuses its own light. On the other hand, the light of the LCD TV goes out from the LED backlight. This difference determines the quality of the picture.

Market researchers say that Asian television producers are trying to attract buyers through new display technology. But due to the lack of video content of Ultra HD resolution and due to the extra cost, the TVs are not yet popular.
